Beginners Classes/4-6 week Foundations Course
The ideal introduction for anyone new to the practice, or looking to ease back into exercise. With a gentle pace and plenty of expert guidance, you’ll master the foundation exercises that form the building blocks of Pilates.
Intermediate Pilates
Whilst the Foundations of Pilates are still present, there are options within the class to provide more challenge, control and stability. You will learn to master the fundamentals of Pilates with greater precision, discover how they can be progressed further and start to dip into some of the more demanding Pilates exercises.
Advanced Pilates
Take your Pilates practice to the next level. These classes offer less instruction, fewer options to adapt and provide a challenging workout that integrates some of the more challenging/advanced moves. Ideal for clients who have been practising Pilates for a while, are injury-free and have good control and technique.
High Intensity Pilates (Advanced)
Sweat, Burn, and Tone with High Intensity Pilates. Incorporating 1kg hand weights to increase the intensity. This fast-paced and energetic class targets the whole body with a standing section, plank variations and Pilates-style ab work. Improve your fitness and strength while burning calories and boosting your heart rate.
Stretch and flow
A 15-minute session featuring energising stretches to invigorate your body. Whether you’re starting your day, winding down after a long run, or just feel a little stiff in the body, you are guided through various movements designed to improve joint health and overall well-being. Suitable for all levels.
Dumbbell Strength
Completely different to Pilates but the perfect complement/addition. Following increased research into the benefits of lifting weights to help build bone density, boost metabolism and support joint health, these classes incorporate medium to heavy dumbbells and take you through various Strength exercises to target different muscle groups. Suggested 2-5kg and beyond.
Beginners/Gentle Pilates
Perfect for anyone who wants a more relaxed, slower-paced workout. The focus is on gentle movements that can help improve flexibility, strength, and posture while reducing stress and tension. It’s an excellent option for beginners or those who want to ease back into exercise.
Pilates Bands
Classes utilise a dressing gown belt, a loop band or a long resistance band. Whilst it offers some assistance to some of the challenging moves, it adds resistance to others. Great for that bit extra reach/stretch too. Classes are available at intermediate and advanced level.
Pilates Weights
These classes incorporate 1kg hand weights into your practise. These spice up the moves a little and are a great prop to add that little bit of resistance and challenge. This will challenge your control, alignment and stability. Classes available at intermediate and advanced level.
Pilates Ball
Using a small Pilates ball (football-sized), this is possibly one of the most challenging props when it comes to challenging your stability and control. Classes available at intermediate and advanced level.
Express Pilates
This a 15-minute class that’s perfect for those short on time but still want to get in a quick, effective Pilates workout. This class leaves you feeling energised and invigorated, and it’s ideal for anyone who wants to fit a fast and efficient session into their busy schedule.
Additional Props
A few classes using less regular props, including a chair, sliders and the Pilates Pole (broomstick handle)
Power Pilates (Advanced)
A more contemporary twist on Pilates, demanding greater full-body strength and challenging transitions. Sometimes using 1kg hand weights to add to the intensity.
